What's Left of Me (The Hybrid Chronicles, #1)

Zhang, Kat.  What’s Left of Me.  356pp.   HarperCollins.  September 18.  9780062114877.     Another book that’s caught my eye and I haven’t read it…What’s Left of Me looks like a book of high interest just based on the situational existance of the main characters.  Eva and Addie were born a hybrid just like everyone else in their world (the USA, which has separated from the rest of the world, dystopian-like and in the process of evolving).    The girls exist in the same physical body, taking turns being in control of the body’s movements.  Normally as a body matures and settles, by mid teen years, the recessive soul fades away and the dominant soul remains.  In Eva and Addie’s sixteen year old body this has not happened and they are view as an abomination.  Eva still lingers on in Addie’s head.  What a fresh new concept!  They’re not trying to kill each other, but I’m wondering if their society will try to kill them!
