About Brichi

Here I am with YA author Laurie Halse Anderson, one of the most approachable folks alive.

Jason Reynolds was my first attempt at bringing in important national authors whose writings the students connect with. I couldn’t believe it when it actually happened 10 DEC 2015!

Believe it or not, this was my 3rd time trying to make this entry using my extremely touch-sensitive mouse. Anyhow…welcome to my lit blog. I am a middle school librarian who simply loves to lavish in the reading of YA coming-of-age, chick lit and fantasy novels. I have to throw a little diversity into my selections and include psychological thrillers…I simply can’t move over too much into horror due to my tendancy to get scared out of my mind when my wild imagination takes hold. Much of my reviews will cover pre-published materials, but there will be published titles included in my reviews.

So, if you’re into YA and love to hear about some up and coming titles that appeal to urban middle school readers, then this is the place for you! I would simply love to hear some feedback either here or you can tweet me at MsMariesLibrary@twitter.com.

XOXOXO!

Brichi
